Our History
Darul Hidaya Educational Institutions function under the aegis of the Ponnani Taluk Muslim Orphanage Association (PTMOA),
a charitable organization established in 1984 with a vision to serve society through quality education rooted in strong moral values.
The Association is governed by a democratically elected body, reflecting its commitment to transparency, collective leadership, and
community participation.
The working committee of PTMOA, which oversees Darul Hidaya, consists of 33 council members
elected from various Mahallu Jama’aths across Ponnani Taluk. This representative structure ensures that the institution remains closely
connected to the needs and aspirations of the local community while maintaining high standards of governance.
From its inception,
Darul Hidaya has upheld a balanced educational philosophy that embraces modern knowledge and innovation while remaining firmly grounded
in the rich tradition of Islamic scholarship. The institution places strong emphasis on integrity, nurturing students who are
intellectually capable, morally upright, and spiritually aware.
Social responsibility forms a core pillar of Darul Hidaya’s
mission. Students are encouraged to cultivate compassion, service, and civic responsibility, preparing them to contribute
meaningfully to society as responsible and ethical citizens.
Committed to holistic development and academic excellence,
Darul Hidaya continues to provide an educational environment that promotes intellectual growth, character formation, and
continuous improvement in teaching, learning, research, and publications. Over the years, the
institution has evolved into a respected center of learning, dedicated to shaping future generations with knowledge, values, and purpose.
